Dance Revolution! is a new dance competition series inspired by the hit video game franchise Dance Dance Revolution® The show features teams of young dancers between the ages of 11 and 17 who will showcase their original moves and join viewers in learning new dance steps to compete for the grand prize, a $20,000 scholarship.

Hosted by DJ Rick (AOL's Radio KOL), and the talented “house band,” the Slumber Party Girls (an all-new music group of five teen girls), Dance Revolution! brings dance competition to a whole new level.

Each half-hour episode begins with a musical performance by the Slumber Party Girls and DJ Rick's introduction of the “Dance Crews” (pairs of contestants) and the judges. After both Dance Crews perform an original dance routine, choreographer Leah Lynette teaches them new moves from hip hop, Latin, or a fresh twist on classic break dance. After a short rehearsal time, the Dance Crews must perform once again, this time incorporating the new steps into their routine.

The show concludes with feedback from the special guest celebrity judges and technical judge Tricia Gomez (creator of “Hip Hop – In a Box"), and one team is eliminated each week.
