The revolution of the “revolution” is here. DDR Hottest Party 3 has arrived, and the ultimate groove game has really stepped it up. 2 years ago the original Dance Dance Revolution Party was released. 12 years since DDR showed its face in North America, Konami promises that this will be the best yet.

The range of things you can do on DDR Hottest Party 3 is unbelievable. You are even able to use the Wii balance board, a big change since the massive dance pads originally released with the game in 1999.Check out this link here. 7 different modes of play allow you to dance to your hearts content. You can compete, free play, or even be in workout mode and keep track of how many calories you have burned. This game is certainly geared to have something for everyone

Comparing the original DDR graphics to the graphics of DDR Hottest Party 3 is almost comical. Things really haven’t changed. While the graphics aren’t significantly better as they have kept their somewhat traditional style, and new stages and characters have been added.

Most of the songs in DDR Hottest Party 3 are accompanied by not only graphics, but real videos. An amazing track list has been paired with the game. Including hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. Also included are some of the original DDR songs as well as brand new songs created just for Hottest Party 3.

So the graphics aren’t the best, the rest of the game makes up for it. If you’re trying to keep to that workout plan, show up your best friend, or just flat out have an awesome time, this game is it. With the versatility to be able to dance along with the Wii Balance Board, that in itself is sure to be a homerun for people all over.
