There are all kinds of different DDR accessories out there for your use. Whether you play Dance Dance Revolution on a gaming console, your computer, or even at the arcade there are so many different and unique DDR accessories available.

One of my favorite DDR accessories is the different types of dance pads that any number of companies has to offer. Although, prices for a metal pad can differ anywhere between 100 to 500 dollars depending on the type of metal used, if it is a competing pad, or even the brand.

Another favorite DDR accessory, are the bar supporters for the metal pads. Think about it… Why tear up that carpet, laminate, or hardwood flooring with your new metal pad? Supporter bars are made to be placed right in the back of the metal dance pad to support not only the handle bar, but in case you come crashing down onto the floor. They also raise the pad off of the floor a bit to minimize scratching and damage to the floor.

This last accessory is perhaps the most favorable among console DDR players. You just upgraded your console and then your world comes toppling down as you realize that your dance pad won’t work with the new console. It’s perfectly fine! You can get adapters that go from your old console plugin to the new one! Even more favorable is what if your console goes out and all you have left is a PC? There are plugin adapters made specifically to go from a console adapter to a USB one.

There are many types of DDR accessories out there. Many of them are really neat and cool, some of them are must haves for the passionate and aggressive DDR player. Shop online or even go to the nearest gaming store to find what accessories you will find best used for what you need.
