DanceDance Revolution has been a popular game for more than eleven years. However, on November 16th, the game’s developers will release the first edition for PlayStation Move. The new PlayStation Move is similar to the motion features of the Wii. With the addition of the PlayStation EYE and the system’s first motion controller, gamers can finally get into their PS3 games. So how will the new PlayStation Move change the latest DanceDance Revolution?The game will offer special features that allow you to truly be a part of the DanceDance Revolution community. For example, thanks to the use of the EYE, you can record your jam-packed moves and upload them to your favorite sites; such as Facebook and YouTube. The EYE will also increase the intensity of your friendly competitions. The Dance Off Mode will now feature an on-screen view of your moves. A Video Game Even the First Lady Endorses

It’s certainly up for debate whether the rapid, spastic foot movements of Dance Dance Revolution gamers are actually a form of dance, but one thing is sure, it gets the heart pumping. The Japanese video game is now over a decade old and still one of the best-known games on the market. The four-arrowed dance pad became such a sensation in video arcades that fans began running to the stores to bring this game to their living room. It’s something the whole family will enjoy, and many parents are more likely to allow their children to play this game for extended periods of time because it requires physical activity. Even President Obama’s kids get to play DDR, and Michelle Obama has suggested incorporating this game into schools to get kids active again. Though some scoff at the fact that kids today need a machine to make them get up and move, it’s better than nothing. (more…)
